Intercard will exhibit at the cinema industry’s CinemaCon 2023 at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas from April 25-27. Bill Allen, Intercard North America sales manager, and sales rep Jeff Tash will be at booth 1020J to showcase Intercard’s cashless payment systems for use in cinemas.
Featured this year is Intercard’s sales-boosting E-commerce platform that allows guests to pay for arcade play cards and other attractions from a computer or mobile device before going to a cinema entertainment center. On arrival the guest can redeem the advance order at an unattended kiosk, saving them time and cutting labor costs for the operator.
“E-commerce is the future for the cinema industry as operators combine movies with arcade games, laser tag and other attractions to attract more guests and increase revenues,” says Allen. “The Intercard E-commerce platform makes it easy to sell to guests from the convenience of their homes and pre-sales encourage higher spending at your venue.”
Cinergy is one influential cinema entertainment operator that uses Intercard’s versatile and integrated system. “Cashless makes the experience that the guest has within our facility so much more streamlined,” says Darek Heath, COO of Cinergy. “It lets them spend money when and where they want to … as quickly possible without having another transaction.”
