FIVE INTERCARD CUSTOMERS RECEIVE AWARDS AT BCM’s 2021 BOWLING CENTER ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN HONORS

Hall U Need in Lille, France, winner of best new international center BCMmy award.

Intercard congratulates five of its customers who are among the bowling and family entertainment centers that have earned top honors in the 37th annual Bowling Center Architecture and Design Awards competition conducted by Bowling Center Management magazine. All honorees received the coveted award, which was renamed the BCMmy for 2021.

Domestic centers and centers outside the United States were judged in separate divisions, with dedicated categories for new venues and modernized facilities. Awards were given for the best overall venues, the best exteriors, the best interiors and the best ancillary profit centers (such as arcades, dedicated billiards rooms, karaoke rooms, etc.).

The winners in the Boutique and FEC venues categories will be featured in the April issue of BCM. Intercard customers among the winners are:

  • Best New International Center — Hall U Need, Saint-Andre-lez-Lille, France.
  • Best New United States Center — The HUB, Tonkawa, Okla.
  • Best New United States Exterior — Elev8, Sanford, Fla.
  • Best New United States Interior and Bar/Restaurant — Spare Time, Pineville, N.C.
  • Best Modernized United States Exterior — The Workz on the Riverfront, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

“Intercard congratulates our customers who have been recognized by BCM for the excellent architecture and design of their amusement centers,” says Scott Sherrod, CEO of Intercard. “These are smart and creative operators who offer their customers the best guest experience in every facet of their centers from the front door to the arcade and beyond.
