This week Intercard is attending the film exhibition industry’s CinemaCon 2021 convention and trade show at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. Bill Allen and Amber Lambert are at trade show booth #1014J to introduce show visitors to Intercard’s industry-leading ecommerce and cashless payment systems for use in cinemas. The show runs through August 26.
“As the movie exhibition industry evolves, increasing numbers of theatre owners are creating “theatre entertainment centers” that combine movies with arcade games, laser tag and other attractions that provide fun for families and increase revenues,” says Allen. “This has increased the need for technology to help proprietors manage, maintain and secure more sophisticated amusement operations.”
Cinergy is one influential exhibitor that uses Intercard’s versatile and integrated system. “Cashless makes the experience that the guest has within our facility so much more streamlined,” says Darek Heath, COO of Cinergy. “It lets them spend money when and where they want to … as quickly possible without having another transaction.”
CinemaCon attracts more than 7,500 motion picture professionals from all facets of the industry – from exhibition and distribution to the equipment and concession areas – all on hand to celebrate the movie-going experience and the cinema industry. From exclusive Hollywood product presentations highlighting a slate of upcoming films, to must-see premiere feature screenings, to the biggest stars, producers and directors, CinemaCon helps jumpstart the excitement and buzz that powers the box office.
