Lollihop: Jordan’s Newest Family Attraction
Intercard recently installed its systems at Lollihop Funland, the newest and largest indoor playground and entertainment center in Amman, Jordan.
Lollihop Funland, located in Wasfi Al Tall Street in Amman, offers over 2,000 square meters (21,500 square feet) of fun and enjoyment for children and their families. The center features a soft playground that includes trampolines, multiple slides including a high Volcano slide, spider tower, maze, ball ponds and a toddler area. Its other primary attraction is a virtual reality arcade consisting of 6 VR machines offering more than 130 different experiences for kids and adults.
The center uses Intercard technology throughout its operation, including RFID wristbands for time-controlled admission to the soft play area and RFID cards for

access to the VR machines. Customers can also use their Intercard RFID cards for food and beverage and merchandise purchases.
“Intercard has been leading the amusement market in the Middle East for over 20 years now and we have customers throughout the region,” says Alberto Borrero, Intercard senior vice-president for international sales. “We are very excited to work with Lollihop as they establish themselves as a dynamic and innovative player in Jordan.”
Lollihop plans to open a second center in Jordan in 2019 and is also planning Lollihop Aqua, a water park, according to Adnan Sarah, CEO of Lollihop.
