Stevi B’s Franchisee Boosts Game Revenue at Two Stores
Intercard recently completed installations at two Stevi B’s Pizza Buffet restaurants in suburban Atlanta.
Bill Lucker owns two popular Stevi B’s Pizza Buffet franchises in Duluth and Snellville, Georgia. After careful study he recently made the change from tickets and tokens to an Intercard debit card system for his two arcades, which feature 20 and 40 games. Lucker chose Intercard primarily because he knew that with two locations Intercard’s cloud-based database would be a big advantage. He was also impressed with Intercard’s support team when he compared several vendors.
Lucker praised the “deep industry knowledge” of Intercard sales rep Todd DeMott, himself an experienced arcade operator. “Todd gave a lot of good information, not only about the card system but for operating a game room,” said Lucker. “That was huge.”
Early results of the change to debit card technology have been gratifying. “In Duluth it’s been at least 20-25 percent boost [in revenue]” says Lucker, “and in Snellville it’s been much larger than that” thanks in part to a new mix of games. Lucker has recommended the Intercard system to other franchisees of the popular Stevi B’s chain, which has 40 locations in eight states.
