Intercard has added arcade industry veteran Todd DeMott to its North America sales team. A native of Belmar, New Jersey, Todd “grew up beating all the arcade games on the Shore” and turned his love of games into a career as a sales rep, manager, consultant and owner of his own arcades. As Intercard expands its global business in debit card technology, Todd will represent Intercard in the vital U.S. market.

Todd has extensive expertise in merchandising, equipment service, arcade design and management. He began his career working in the summer for arcade industry stalwart Monduce Inc., which led to a ten-year stint at the company’s successor Elaut USA. Todd has helped open numerous FECs including Iplay America, Monster Mini Golf and Lefty’s Alley & Eats. He also oversaw the expansion of Funplex Amusement Centers and its transition to debit card technology.

A self-professed “adrenalin junkie” who has built and driven his own race cars, Todd loves tinkering with toys and games of all kinds. He attended Brookdale Community College in New Jersey where he studied automotive technologies.

“Todd DeMott grew up in the arcade business and understands it inside out as a player, manager and operator,” said Scott Sherrod, CEO of Intercard. “As Intercard continues to grow its business in the United States, Todd will be a valuable resource for our existing customers as well as new ones.”
